Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

The company is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, process and transform both structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for diverse data sources.
• Document the data platform, including information requirements, data models, data dictionaries and ETL mappings.
• Collaborate with system administrators, developers, external partners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimise pipelines for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Implement and manage orchestration workflows to automate scheduling, monitoring and error handling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer designing and delivering data pipelines using industry‑standard tools and cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, data lakes and data warehousing.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud data platform.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks such as scripting, transformation and automation.
• Good understanding of relational database technologies and concepts.
