Data Engineer – Build & Scale ML Pipelines

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join Clariti AI, a fast‑scaling B2B SaaS provider of price optimisation software for retail banks. Based in London with a hybrid work model, you will own the design, development and production of data pipelines that drive millions of pounds of additional revenue for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build, optimise and deploy machine‑learning ETL/ELT pipelines for price optimisation.
• Enhance and scale the data infrastructure to support growing client volumes, focusing on security, automation and auditability.
• Collaborate with clients during pitches and onboarding, providing engineering and pricing expertise.
• Maintain clean, production‑ready code and ensure reliable data refresh processes.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering).
• At least 2 years of data engineering experience, preferably in consulting or financial services.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Required skills

• Python programming, including pandas and numpy libraries.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Production‑level code deployment and version control.
• Understanding of DAG concepts and workflow orchestration.
• Design and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines.
