Data Engineer – Cloud & Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and optimise modern data platforms for a global consulting and technology services organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, data specialists and technology teams, you will develop scalable data pipelines and support cloud‑based solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Support the development and optimisation of cloud‑based data platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable data models for reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and governance across environments.
• Assist with data migration and transformation projects across multiple systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or within a Data & Analytics environment.
• Strong background in building and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.
• Hands‑on experience with Python or similar languages for data processing.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling techniques.
