Data Engineer – Cloud & Azure Focus

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Data Engineer to join our multinational team in London. This hybrid position (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote) will focus on designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud‑based data solutions that empower internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise data warehouses and large‑scale data platforms on Azure.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• Manage SQL Server databases across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Ensure data security, reliability and accessibility for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Science, development and business teams to deliver data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands‑on Azure data services.
• Strong background in designing and optimising data warehouses.
• Advanced SQL and reporting expertise.
• Professional experience with Python programming.
