Data Engineer – Cloud & ETL Specialist

About the role

Join a growing data engineering function and help build scalable, cloud‑based data products that enable data‑driven decision making across the organisation. You will work with modern cloud technologies, collaborating with product managers, architects and fellow engineers to deliver high‑performing data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data products and end‑to‑end pipelines.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes on a cloud‑based platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyse complex data challenges and deliver scalable, high‑quality implementations.
• Produce clear technical documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support data quality, reliability and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployment and environment management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve standards, processes and data products.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL/ELT development.
• Strong logical problem‑solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
• Passion for data, new technologies and delivering well‑documented, reliable code.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
