Data Engineer – Hybrid (3 days office)

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Data Engineer to join our multinational team in Putney. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote, and focuses on building and maintaining scalable, cloud‑based data solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Create and optimise data pipelines using Databricks, Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• Manage SQL Server databases across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Ensure data is secure, reliable and easily accessible for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with data science, development and business teams to shape data architecture.
• Identify and implement improvements in data acquisition, automation and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands‑on work using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Track record of designing and optimising data warehouses and large‑scale platforms.
• Strong advanced SQL and reporting expertise.
• Ability to work closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders.
• Personable and collaborative attitude.
