Data Engineer

About the role

Oakland is looking for a versatile Data Engineer to join its consultancy team. You will work on a variety of client projects, ranging from data platform implementations to AI‑driven solutions, and help translate business needs into robust technical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and platforms for diverse clients.
• Implement business intelligence, web applications and AI solutions as required.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to select the best technology stack for each project.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing and documentation to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong programming mindset with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience delivering solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and at least one additional language such as C#, C++, JavaScript or TypeScript.
