Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join an internationally established business that is building a new enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric. The role will start at an early stage of the programme, shaping pipelines, data models and engineering standards that will support reporting, analytics and future AI initiatives across a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build ETL and ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop robust data models within the Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Contribute to technical standards and best practices for the platform.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and other technology teams to ensure data reliability and suitability for reporting, analytics and AI.

Required profile

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or a strong background across the Azure data stack.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Solid SQL skills and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Medallion architecture and building scalable, reliable data solutions.

• Salary up to £60,000 per year plus an annual bonus.
