About the role
This contract position supports a major Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation for a leading aerospace organisation. You will own the migration of engineering and product data—including CAD models, drawings and Bills of Materials—from legacy systems into a new PLM environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of legacy engineering data into the target PLM system.
- Assess, extract, cleanse and validate CAD data, drawings and technical documentation before transfer.
- Coordinate migration activities with engineering, CAD and PLM teams across multiple sites.
- Monitor project progress, report risks and track delivery against milestones.
- Develop and document improved data‑management processes and procedures.
- Support training on migration tools and processes where required.
Required profile
- Experience working with engineering or product data rather than traditional business analytics.
- Background in aerospace, defence, automotive or other highly regulated engineering environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with PLM concepts and engineering documentation workflows.
Required skills
- Teamcenter, Windchill or ENOVIA PLM systems.
- CAD data handling and preparation.
- Bills of Materials (BOM) management.
- Data cleansing and validation techniques.
