Data Entry Operator – Bangor, UK

About the role

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join its Quality Assurance team in Bangor, North Wales. The role involves entering and editing complex information from a variety of internal and external sources while supporting certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of GLI products, services, database procedures, and certification letter folders.
• Update jurisdictional information in the database accurately and efficiently.
• Create projects in the Submissions Database from requests received via email, FTP, and other sources.
• Operate peripheral equipment and run verification programs to collect software signatures.
• Process draft and secondary portal reports, closing out files for withdrawal.
• Research daily database queries and correct any errors or discrepancies.
• Assist in troubleshooting database‑related issues using GLI resources.
• Maintain a daily log of submittal and non‑submittal mail.
• Archive and retrieve media and hardware as requested.
• Answer internal database‑related questions and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• 1‑2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• High attention to quality, detail, and correctness.
