Data Governance Analyst – Data Enablement & Training

About the role

We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to lead data enablement activities, training, and tool adoption across the organisation. You will ensure data is accessible, usable and understandable while supporting the data lifecycle and governance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define training pathways for specific roles and deliver a comprehensive data enablement curriculum.
• Create educational content such as workshops, video tutorials and interactive learning modules.
• Design training frameworks aligned with data governance goals and set benchmarks for effectiveness.
• Manage the data portal, collaborate with product teams and catalogue vendors to enhance functionality.
• Build an internal community of “Data Champions” to foster peer‑to‑peer learning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, instructional design or a related field.
• Proven ability to embed data governance and literacy within an organisation.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex data concepts for technical and business audiences.
• Knowledge of DAMA DMBoK, data lifecycle management and GDPR implications.
