Data Maintenance Associate

About the role

The Data Maintenance Associate will support NHS Supply Chain by ensuring that contract, supplier and product information is accurate, reliable and auditable. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with the Data Maintenance Team Lead and other stakeholders to meet launch timelines and improve data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter, maintain and verify data in NHS Supply Chain systems.
• Manage records and activity logs in line with compliance requirements.
• Handle customer queries, issues and complaints, escalating urgent matters when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes and suggesting efficiencies.
• Compile, analyse and present data from multiple sources.

Required profile

• Experience in data maintenance or a similar data‑focused role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Good organisational skills and adherence to established procedures.
• Effective communication skills for handling internal and external queries.
