Data & Performance Officer – Net Zero Hub

About the role

This six‑month contract (with possible extension) supports the South West Net Zero Hub (SWNZH) in delivering evidence‑based strategy and policy. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager (Delivery), you will lead research, analysis and reporting to help shape regional Net Zero action.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of SWNZH projects.
• Produce evidence‑based recommendations for strategic direction and policy design.
• Strengthen reporting to external stakeholders, including the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero and the SWNZH Board.
• Execute IT projects using the new CRM system, PowerApps, Dynamics 365, Power Automate, GIS mapping, BI dashboards and Excel.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams to improve efficiency and reporting quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and performance reporting within a public‑sector or large‑organisation context.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements in processes and collaboration.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear strategic insights.
