Data Product Development - AI & Analytics - VP

About the role

Citi is looking for a senior leader to drive the design and delivery of a unified analytics platform within its Enterprise Data Office. The role sits in London and will work closely with credit, market, liquidity and capital risk teams to translate business needs into data‑driven products.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business partners to gather requirements, define product vision and shape a unified analytics platform.
• Design, code and deploy enterprise‑wide analytic products handling both structured and unstructured data.
• Build and manage data pipelines and analytical workloads, ensuring efficient processing at scale.
• Plan, prioritize and coordinate product design, delivery and release while acting as a product ambassador for end‑users.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data analytics solutions in large‑scale environments.
• Deep expertise with Distributed File System tools such as Linux, Python, Spark and Hive.
• Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, NoSQL stores) and AI/ML frameworks, including NLP, LLM integration, RAG pipelines and agentic AI architectures.
• Domain knowledge in Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity or Capital.
• Experience defining data strategy for advanced analytics, covering data governance, sourcing and ethical considerations.
