Data Product Owner and Delivery Lead

About the role

Join Hastings Direct’s Analytics Projects Team within Claims as a Data Product Owner and Delivery Lead. This fixed‑term position (≈12 months) will see you shape and deliver high‑quality data products that support the company’s three‑year growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data products, from ideation through delivery and ongoing maintenance.
• Own delivery planning, including scope definition, milestones, dependencies, risk and issue management.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
• Define product vision, set acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure rigorous testing of data solutions.
• Balance demand and capacity across technical and commercial teams to meet delivery commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑centric products such as pipelines, warehouses or analytics platforms.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
