Data Scientist

About the role

Bending Spoons is looking for a Data Scientist to help design, build, and improve data pipelines and internal data products. You will work closely with software engineers and product teams to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and to support company‑wide decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines across diverse tech stacks.
• Validate data, define metrics, and enhance reporting and analytics systems.
• Build internal data products such as reporting engines and forecasting tools for cross‑functional use.
• Partner with multiple teams to provide analytical and modeling support for business planning and performance tracking.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate work, uncover insights, and study market trends.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability: solve complex problems from first principles and avoid bias.
• High drive and ambition with a sense of responsibility and tenacity.
• Team spirit: generous collaboration, support for the best ideas, and willingness to get hands‑dirty.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Experience with data pipeline design and data system evolution.
• Ability to work with software engineers on data validation and metric definition.
• Familiarity with building scalable reporting and forecasting tools.
• Knowledge of AI tools for insight generation.
