Data Steward – Product Information Management (PIM)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Steward specialising in Product Information Management (PIM) to join a global consumer products organisation. The role is fully remote within the UK and will run for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with a strong focus on maintaining high‑quality product data across multiple digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enrich product information within the organisation’s PIM platform.
• Ensure product data is accurate, complete and compliant with internal governance standards.
• Support product launches by coordinating creation, validation and maintenance of product records.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, marketing and technical teams to gather and update product information.
• Prepare and manage product data for syndication across digital, retail and e‑commerce channels.
• Assist with PIM implementation activities, including data migration, cleansing and validation.
• Identify data quality issues and proactively resolve discrepancies.
• Produce reports on data quality, completeness and outstanding actions.
• Develop and improve product data processes, documentation and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to internal users on PIM processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Product Information Management, product data or master data role.
• Hands‑on experience with inRiver PIM.
• Experience supporting or participating in PIM implementation projects.
• Experience managing product data syndication across multiple digital or retail channels.
• Strong understanding of product data governance and data quality principles.
• Experience working with large product catalogues and structured datasets.
