Data Validator – Referral to Treatment (RTT) Specialist

About the role

This full‑time Band 4 position supports the Gynaecology team by ensuring that all Referral to Treatment (RTT) data is accurate, compliant and timely. You will play a key part in monitoring elective‑care performance and helping managers meet national and local targets.

Key responsibilities

• Download, validate and reconcile RTT performance reports supplied by Information Management.
• Complete monthly data validation tasks and resolve any data discrepancies.
• Identify and flag RTT breaches, supporting corrective action and reporting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in line with national and local submission requirements.
• Provide timely performance information to Gynaecology managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data validation within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of RTT standards and the BNSSG RTT Policy.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Sound judgement and the capacity to prioritise workload effectively.
• Knowledge of gynaecology patient pathways is advantageous.
