Data Warehouse Architect

About the role

This is a hybrid, full‑time position with a private‑equity backed organisation embarking on a greenfield data transformation. As the Data Warehouse Architect you will own the strategy and design of an enterprise‑wide data platform that supports reporting, analytics, AI and future innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise‑scale data warehouse and Lakehouse architectures.
• Develop data platform strategies using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and Databricks.
• Build scalable data models, storage frameworks and modern integration pipelines.
• Establish governance, security, lineage and access‑control frameworks.
• Define CI/CD and deployment standards for data products.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouse and Lakehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform and Databricks ecosystem.
• Hands‑on expertise with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
• Experience implementing Star Schema and Data Vault modelling techniques.
• Solid understanding of data governance, security and access management.
