Day Concierge

About the role

We are seeking a professional Day Concierge to be the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors and visitors at a busy residential development in Tower Hamlets, East London. The role involves delivering a high‑standard customer experience while maintaining safety, security and smooth day‑to‑day operations of the building.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents, visitors and contractors.
• Answer telephone calls, emails and front‑desk enquiries promptly.
• Assist with day‑to‑day resident requests and support.
• Maintain building security, monitor CCTV and support parking operations.
• Conduct regular patrols, reporting maintenance issues, hazards or security concerns.
• Record and respond to health & safety incidents, complaints and emergencies.
• Manage secure issue and return of keys with accurate records.
• Receive, log, store and distribute parcels and registered mail, notifying residents of deliveries.
• Deliver courteous, helpful service to all building users.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a residential, concierge or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing building works.
• Good understanding of fire safety, health & safety and building security procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
