Day Opportunities Support Worker (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our Day Opportunities team in Leyton. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on helping individuals with disabilities engage in daily activities and develop new skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing, person‑centred support throughout the day, including during activities and break times.
• Encourage and assist clients to participate in planned activities, helping them achieve personal goals.
• Deliver “active support” in line with each client’s individual plan and risk assessment.
• Assist with activity planning, risk assessments and lead sessions both on‑site and in the community.
• Maintain accurate records such as daily reports, case diaries and contribute to client reviews.
• Promote health, wellbeing and safety for clients and staff, adhering to safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth delivery of the daily programme.
