Day Registered Nurse – Okeley Care Home, Chelmsford

About the role

We are recruiting Day Registered Nurses for Okeley Care Home in Chelmsford, Essex. You will join a compassionate team, providing high‑quality nursing care to residents during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medication to residents.
• Monitor care team practice and ensure compliance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
• Create and regularly update person‑centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities, promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering safe clinical decisions in a care home setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the nursing team and report to the Deputy Manager.

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Care planning and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
