Day Shift Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Farnham on a day‑shift schedule. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑4:30 pm (3:30 pm finish on Fridays), offering a strong work‑life balance and the chance to become multi‑skilled through specialist training.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of electro‑mechanical equipment across the plant.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Support plant expansion projects by ensuring equipment reliability.
• Record maintenance activities and comply with health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to commute to Farnham (e.g., from Guildford, Aldershot, Farnborough, Fleet, Basingstoke, Godalming).
