Day & Waking Night Support Worker (Female)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate female support workers to provide day and waking night assistance to a 62‑year‑old gentleman with an acquired brain injury living independently in Hawkhurst, Kent. The role offers comprehensive training and the chance to help the client maintain an active, independent lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bedtime routines.
• Support light domestic tasks in the mornings.
• Provide waking night monitoring and assist with BiPAP non‑invasive ventilation.
• Work within a four‑week rolling rota, covering day shifts (Wed & Sat 09:30‑18:15) and night shifts (Wed, Fri, Sat 21:30‑07:30) as required.
• Flexibly cover sickness, annual leave and occasional shift extensions.

Required profile

• Compassionate, reliable and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo training and an enhanced DBS check.
• Driving licence and own vehicle for day role.

Required skills

• Experience or willingness to work with BiPAP non‑invasive ventilation.
