Dealer Manager – Material Handling (North England)

About the role

This is a field‑based Dealer Manager position supporting a leading OEM in the material handling sector across the North of England. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and its forklift dealer network, driving sales growth and ensuring technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with material handling dealers throughout the North of England.
• Assist dealers with business plans, quotations, pricing strategies and technical support for forklift products.
• Coordinate, report on, and monitor marketing and sales support initiatives for the dealer network.
• Visit dealer sites regularly to address requirements and strengthen partnerships.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, customer events, and OEM marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the material handling sector or a related dealer network (e.g., motive power, batteries, cleaning equipment, forklift attachments).
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop detailed business plans.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a strategic mindset.
• Based in the Midlands or North of England with willingness to travel across these regions.
