Dealership Accountant (Hybrid) – Oxfordshire

About the role

Join a prestigious car dealership in Oxfordshire as a Dealership Accountant. This hands‑on position offers a varied workload, from preparing monthly management accounts to supporting profit optimisation across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts with detailed commentary.
• Collate and examine purchase and sales ledger data from the central accounting department.
• Provide analytical support to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Monitor performance tools for projects and deliver final conclusions.
• Review capital and project appraisals, and consolidate group budgets and forecasts.
• Undertake investigative and ad‑hoc analytical exercises as required.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant with experience in the motor industry.
• Proven track record working within a car dealership environment.
• Strong technical and analytical accounting abilities.
• Leadership qualities combined with a good sense of humour.
• Team‑player attitude willing to support colleagues.

Required skills

• Kerridge accounting software (or similar).
• Pinnacle accounting package (or similar).
