Decision Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Decision Support Analyst to join the Finance team of LexisNexis Global Operations, part of RELX. In this fast‑paced environment you will work with real, imperfect data to generate reliable, decision‑grade insights that influence commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to analyse performance and support decision‑making.
• Build and maintain budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling components.
• Validate, troubleshoot and reconcile financial and operational data from multiple systems.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance metrics with a focus on accuracy.
• Perform variance and root‑cause analysis to explain performance drivers.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and deliver actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in analytics, finance or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large, messy or incomplete datasets.
• Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).
