Defence Courier – British Forces Post Office

About the role

The British Forces Post Office is seeking motivated Defence Couriers to join its headquarters team in Northolt. In this role you will support the UK Armed Forces by delivering mail and parcels worldwide, ensuring that service personnel stay connected and operational requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classified and non‑classified mail and parcels to UK Armed Forces personnel at domestic and overseas locations.
• Maintain accurate records of all items handled and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Coordinate with internal BFPO teams and external partners to manage logistics and routing.
• Support morale by ensuring timely delivery of personal correspondence and official documents.

Required profile

• UK national with no dual citizenship, resident in the UK for the past 10 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
• Willingness to undergo regular criminal records checks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in handling sensitive material.
