About the role

We are partnering with one of the UK’s most respected defendant insurance practices to recruit a solicitor (2‑6 years PQE) for its growing Glasgow team. The role offers a balanced mix of autonomy and support, allowing you to manage your own files while benefiting from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload covering employers’ liability, public liability and disease claims.
• Develop expertise across motor, fraud and more complex casualty litigation.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice and representation for defence insurance matters.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to progress cases and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in defending employer and public liability claims.
• Strong foundation in EL/PL and casualty litigation.
