About the role
Join the Royal Mail team as a flexible delivery driver based at the Prenton Delivery Office. You will be the face of the service in your neighbourhood, delivering letters and parcels safely and on time, rain or shine.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a Royal Mail van to cover your delivery area.
- Walk up to 20,000 steps per day, loading and unloading a mailbag weighing up to 16 kg.
- Securely deliver all items, including election materials and regulated goods such as food or alcohol.
- Adapt to varying shift patterns and respond to short‑notice schedule changes.
Required profile
- Full manual UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Physical fitness to walk long distances and handle a heavy mailbag.
- Ability to work flexibly, including Sundays only.
- Willingness to pass a driving assessment before starting.
Required skills
- Valid UK manual driving licence.
