About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving, delivering mail and parcels across Edinburgh. This permanent, full‑time position offers a chance to serve the local community while staying active and fit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses in Edinburgh.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery within scheduled routes.
• Maintain delivery vehicle and equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to great customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in work.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
