Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed‑Term (9 months)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie in Cullompton, working a fixed‑term nine‑month contract delivering mail and parcels across the local community. You’ll operate a vehicle and walk routes, ensuring timely deliveries in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to homes and businesses within the assigned area.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, adhering to road regulations and company policies.
• Follow a set rota, working Monday‑Saturday (07:00‑14:30) and occasional Sundays (08:30‑16:00).
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally.

Required profile

• Positive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Physically fit for long periods of walking and able to work outdoors in any weather.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid manual driving licence (UK).
