Delivery Postie with Driving – Fixed‑Term (9 months)

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking a Delivery Postie with Driving for a nine‑month fixed‑term contract in Weston‑super‑Mare. You will work 37 hours per week, delivering mail and parcels across the local community, Monday to Saturday and occasional Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and other items to residential and business addresses.
• Operate a delivery vehicle safely, holding a full UK manual driving licence.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow local rota schedules.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers and represent Royal Mail positively.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with the community and taking pride in the role.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
