Delivery Postie with Driving – Part‑time (30 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie with driving responsibilities, working 30 hours a week across a flexible shift pattern. You will be the friendly face that brings mail, parcels and important documents to households and local businesses in the Biggin Hill area.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver letters, parcels and other items on a daily route.
• Follow a set schedule, working between 07:00‑13:00 and 15:00‑20:00, including occasional Sundays on a rota basis.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Ensure the safety of yourself and the public by adhering to road‑traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
