About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Delivery Postie in Newcastle, working part‑time on a fixed‑term basis. You will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to local homes and businesses, ensuring timely service even during evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses in the Newcastle area.
• Collect outgoing items from local drop‑off points.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures where required.
• Adhere to scheduled delivery windows, including evenings and Sundays.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and customer‑focused.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in work.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
