Dementia Care Manager

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Dementia Care Manager to lead the Dementia Community at Fleet Hall Care Home. You will be responsible for delivering person‑centred care, implementing our dementia strategy and managing resources within budget. This role offers the chance to make a daily positive impact on residents’ lives while developing your professional expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of the Dementia Community, ensuring the company’s dementia care strategy is embedded.
• Maintain accurate care plans, reflecting residents’ needs, preferences and summaries.
• Build caring relationships with residents, families and external partners, acting as an advocate for residents’ best interests.
• Collaborate with the Activities Team to design and deliver meaningful activities for residents with dementia.
• Set expectations and support the care team’s participation in activity programmes.
• Promote a culture that maximises residents’ independence, capabilities and quality of life.
• Manage resources and budgets in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar dementia care management role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant industry qualifications in health or social care.
• Understanding of the UK health and social care market.
