About the role
We are seeking a passionate Dementia Lead to champion best practice in a well‑established nursing home setting. You will work closely with the Home Manager to deliver person‑centred care that enhances the wellbeing of residents living with dementia.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop dementia care provision across the home.
- Support the Home Manager in delivering exceptional, person‑centred care.
- Champion best practice and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
- Mentor, supervise and develop the care team.
- Provide guidance and support to families of residents.
- Occasionally work alongside the care team to provide hands‑on support.
Required profile
- Experience supporting people living with dementia in a care home setting.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring care teams.
- A Health & Social Care qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Passion for delivering exceptional person‑centred care.
- Desirable: specialist dementia training or qualifications.
- Understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

- Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per year.
