Demi Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at Grantley Hall, a five‑star historic hotel in North Yorkshire. As a Demi Chef de Partie you will support the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the kitchen, preparing high‑quality dishes for the hotel’s five restaurants and bars.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior chefs with day‑to‑day running of your section.
• Prepare food items according to recipe standards and quality guidelines.
• Contribute ideas for innovative menu designs within your area.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Delegate tasks to Commis chefs and provide guidance as needed.
• Step in to support other sections during busy periods.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, productive approach with a passion for food preparation.
• Detail‑oriented, able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and a willingness to learn.
• Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
