Demolition Labourer – 8‑Week Temporary Role in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking experienced Demolition Labourers for an 8‑week project in Leeds (LS1). You will join a professional site team to safely and efficiently carry out demolition and site clearance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with soft strip and demolition works.
• Remove fixtures, fittings and non‑structural elements.
• Load, unload and move demolition materials around the site.
• Segregate and dispose of waste according to regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Support plant operators and demolition teams as required.
• Follow demolition plans and supervisor instructions.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Previous demolition or construction labouring experience.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Physically fit for manual handling duties.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Own PPE (hard hat, high‑visibility vest, safety boots, gloves, eye protection).
• Desirable: CCDO Labourer Card, Asbestos Awareness Certificate, experience on commercial demolition projects.
