Dentist – Defence Dental Centre

About the role

The Ministry of Defence is recruiting a qualified dentist to work at the Dental Centre on HMS Drake in Plymouth. The role provides dental care to MOD personnel and staff within a dedicated military health environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive dental services, including examinations, treatments and preventive care, to service members and civilian staff at the MOD Dental Centre.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with MOD and NHS standards.
• Adhere to health and safety, infection control and security protocols required for work on a defence installation.

Required profile

• Qualified dentist eligible to practise in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (security check) and undergo a criminal record check.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the HMS Drake location.
