Deployment Engineer (SC Cleared) – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an SC‑cleared Deployment Engineer to join a busy IT team in Swindon. The role involves preparing, configuring and rolling out 800‑900 laptops within a tight window while providing hands‑on support to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and deploy new and refurbished laptops using Windows Autopilot.
• Install required software and applications on each device.
• Reset, re‑image and ready returned laptops for redeployment.
• Troubleshoot deployment and imaging issues.
• Deliver face‑to‑face desktop and IT support, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Follow up with users after deployments to confirm issue resolution.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Active Security Check (SC) clearance – mandatory.
• Proven experience in laptop deployment, desktop or IT support.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a secure team environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑care skills.
