Deputy Care Home Manager

About the role

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is seeking a committed and approachable Deputy Care Home Manager for its newly transitioned Hallmark Esher Residences. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the highest standards of care, safety and wellbeing for residents across a 37‑bed historic building and a new 20‑bed state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day operations and strategic planning.
• Oversee resident care plans, ensuring personalised and dignified support.
• Manage staffing rotas, supervise team performance and provide coaching.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety standards.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, families and external partners.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a senior care home or nursing environment.
• Strong understanding of residential, nursing and dementia care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team with empathy and professionalism.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CQC standards and care home legislation.
• Proficiency in care management software and record‑keeping.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
