Deputy Local Service Manager

About the role

Join Sanctuary Group’s award‑winning mental health service at Bransby Court in Middlesbrough as a Deputy Local Service Manager. You will work alongside a compassionate team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for people with mental health needs, supporting the Local Service Manager in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, manage and develop a dedicated care team, ensuring rotas and training are fit for purpose.
• Promote best practice to guarantee consistent, high‑quality support.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Support the Local Service Manager with marketing, void management and service promotion.
• Build positive relationships with service users, partners and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Management or supervisory experience in a social‑care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding.
• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with general IT systems.
