About the role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our well‑established care home in East Grinstead. This full‑time position offers the chance to support a dedicated team while contributing to the growth and high‑quality standards of the service.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Care Home Manager in day‑to‑day operations and strategic planning.
- Lead and support nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care for residents.
- Monitor compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
- Help drive occupancy growth and maintain strong community relationships.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
Required profile
- Active NMC PIN (RGN or RMN) – desirable.
- Proven experience in elderly or nursing care environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑support abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for high‑quality care.
Required skills
- Active NMC registration (RGN/RMN).
- Solid understanding of CQC standards.
