About the role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our Homesense store in Chester. You will support the Store Manager in delivering an excellent off‑price retail experience and help drive the store’s performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including merchandising, stock control and customer service.
- Support the recruitment, training and development of store staff.
- Help monitor sales targets, KPIs and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and store layout decisions.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a retail supervisory or management role.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
