Join an innovative early years provider in Brentwood as Deputy Nursery Manager. You will help create a child‑centred environment that blends high‑quality Early Years education with outdoor learning, enrichment activities and play‑based discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in day‑to‑day operations and strategic planning.
• Lead and develop staff, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Implement and champion the provider’s philosophy of outdoor and child‑led learning.
• Oversee curriculum delivery, enrichment programmes and health & safety compliance.
• Foster a nurturing, stimulating atmosphere for children and practitioners.

Required profile

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or higher.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within early years settings.
• Commitment to the provider’s child‑centred, outdoor‑learning approach.

What we offer

• Salary between £33,000 and £38,000 per year.
• Permanent, full‑time role (4 days per week, 7:30 am‑6:30 pm).
