Deputy Regional Homecare Pharmacy Lead – East Midlands

About the role

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for a Deputy Regional Homecare Pharmacy Lead to support the management and delivery of home‑care pharmacy services across the East Midlands. Working closely with the Regional Homecare Lead Pharmacist, you will help improve patient services and shape the future of home‑care provision in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Homecare Lead in overseeing home‑care pharmacy operations across multiple sites.
• Coordinate procurement of medicines and supplies to ensure timely delivery to patients’ homes.
• Monitor service quality, identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, external partners and NHS bodies to align services with regional health strategies.
• Provide clinical and logistical support to pharmacy technicians and other staff involved in home‑care delivery.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician with extensive procurement experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient‑centred care.
