Deputy Store Manager – Retail

About the role

As a Deputy Store Manager at Aldi in Waltham Cross, you will help drive sales, deliver excellent customer service, minimise costs and improve operational efficiency. You will also receive an additional premium of £4 per hour while running the store.

Key responsibilities

• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Deliver customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs.
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation.
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits.
• Maintain Health & Safety and due‑diligence standards.

Required profile

• Experience managing teams in fast‑paced, customer‑focused environments.
• Strong time‑management and cost‑control abilities.
• Motivation to achieve and exceed targets consistently.
• Strong customer service and compliance skills.
• Previous store management experience is a plus but not essential.
