About the role

We are looking for a qualified Design and Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Hertfordshire on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will inspire students to develop practical design, engineering and problem‑solving skills while delivering both theoretical and hands‑on lessons.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons.
Inspire creativity and technical proficiency in students.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support school objectives.
Assist with exam preparation and overall academic goals.

Required profile

QTS or QTLS certification.
PGCE or equivalent qualification.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for teaching Design and Technology.
Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
