Design Architect – Early Stage Design Role in London

About the role

An established London architectural practice is seeking a Design Architect to strengthen its front‑end design team. You will work on concept development, feasibility studies and early client engagement across residential and commercial workplace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop early‑stage design concepts (RIBA stages 0‑2) and feasibility studies.
• Produce clear drawings and presentations to communicate ideas to clients and senior designers.
• Collaborate closely with experienced designers on a varied portfolio of residential and office schemes.
• Take ownership of design tasks while supporting the wider team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience.
• Strong interest and experience in early design stages, particularly RIBA stages 0‑2.
• Background in residential and/or commercial office projects.
• Confident design communication skills and proactive, professional attitude.

Required skills

• Revit (preferred).
• Rhino, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite.
